Minter’s populace is (almost) completely unaware that they are on the verge of an Inquisition. At the party’s word 12 knights would descend to question and rout out the insidious evil that may lurk in this town. With the god given right to kill, torture and destroy any one or anything that stood in their way, the party is being very cautious.

Matakea Seenaë arrives back in Selvos, and reports to the Serolan, summarizing all the party had experienced that day, including the discovery of Sir Sarath Jattele, missing and presumed dead these last twenty years. He is surprised to hear the name. Once she has finished her report, she goes to find Judicar Larissa, filling her in on recent developments as well. She asks if this is an Inquisition yet. Seenaë thinks seriously on this for a moment, and decides it it premature to call an Inquisition at this time. The Judicar send two squires ahead to Minter with her horse and gear, and accompanies Seenaë to the docks to return by boat.
Seenaë and Larissa arrive in Minter, and meet Sir Tirn & Sir Kjarri at the door of the manor. Larissa asks to speak to the whole party in private. After a discussion between Larissa and Sir Poryn, she and the party retire to his study to have their discussion. Larissa questions the group about the Morgathian crypt and what was found there. Father Dedoras arrives, and she questions him as well.
Everyone breaks for lunch. During the meal, Sir Poryn regales us with tales of a young Larissa. After lunch, the party and Larissa adjourn to Sir Poryn’s study, and she questions Sir Sarath. Her questions anger him, but she convinces him to abide. She summons Wereda Dasethyn, Sir Poryn’s Chamberlin, next to be questioned.
Wereda is shocked and frightened by the sight of the Morgathian scroll. He is terrified at the thought of what may happen and wishes to cast no aspersions against the household of Sir Poryn. Next, Larissa asks to question Sir Poryn and Father Dederos.
Sir Poryn is questioned, and he happily complies. He strongly believes his Chamberlin to be innocent of all wrongdoings. Dederos arrives for more questioning. After many more question, the party and Father Dederos decide to return to explore the rest of the crypt.
Back in the crypt, the group heads through the door on the right of the statue. They find the area has been mostly destroyed by a mage (using great blasts of fire -GM): they find nothing, but get almost flushed down a set of stairs by a water trap. Coming to a dead end, they return to the entrance-way and go through the central door.
The door is locked, with no keyhole. Tirn decides to place the key found previously in to the door, in the approximate location where a keyhole should be. The door opens, and the next room contains the trap Sir Sarath warned the group about. They successfully navigate the traps, and enter the next room. This room is a large area with other doors opening off it. They go through the rooms and succeed at all the challenges. The rewards at the end for learning all the Morgathian lessons are a sword, a dagger, a mask, a robe and a scroll-case, all black and tainted by Morgath’s influence. They head back to the manor (with the loot – GM).
Nina goes to get Larissa. The party shows her what they found, and tells their tale. With everyone’s help, Seenaë manages to ask Larani for aid in removing the taint from the items. After they go with Father Dederos to find the grave of the old farmer. They dig up his corpse, and with some discussion and examination of the body, Seenaë decides he is not healing as a amorvan would, but rotting normally. Tirn decides to seek a prescient vision, and Larissa sends the other back to the manor to get some rest. She will watch him for the first half of the night, expecting the party to join her for the last half.

After Larissa & Tirn get some sleep, the Judicar asks us to meet with her and Sir Sarath in Sir Poryn’s office. He decides to withdraw his suite because of lack of evidence against the Chamberlain. Larissa and Tirn go to sleep, and Seenaë goes to try to dowse for evil around town again. She does not find any.
That evening, the manor throws a feats for their guests.
(GM – “Seenae” stopped taking notes at this point, and admittedly the conclusion of this very long game session was somewhat anticlimactic, I feel it should be recorded.)
Sir Tirn and Larisa return to the manor by horse, and the rest walk.
Sir Tirn writes a letter to Matakea Suloran Devik about the grave disturber he saw in his vision, and asks Devik to remind Sir Tirn of the event in 8 years so that he can be there to greet the stranger.
Nina prays and ends up speaking to Save-K’nor. It’s uncertain whether her questions were answered.
Larissa awakes later in the day and calls Sir Sarath to speak to her one last time. After the discussion, he withdraws his complaint against Wereda.
