13 Larain
Once the corpse is sealed the party cleans up and goes to pray. They receive messages to speak with Larissa of Kephar and Viran Harak of Chandar. The party heads for Larissa’s office; on the way there Florentina (Nina) and Hervé inform Sir Tirn of Selvos that his family is now safe and that she seems to have taken over the crime family in Selvos.
Larissa’s office is on the second floor of the temple. She informs the party that the Morgathian they just sealed away may have been in the Selvos area since the Peace of Selvos and that she seems to have crossed his path at least twice. Sir Kjarri of Setara and Tirn use their psychometric abilities to see if they can discover what was written on the pages of her journal before it had been scraped. They manage to discover that what had been there before was information about a murder and a cattle rustling.
The party leaves Larissa’s office and goes to see Master Harak. He informs them that the ensorcellement on him is fading; Tirn and Harak discuss creating a spell to make Tirn untrackable or untargetable by magic. Nina asks Harak about a spell to make her monkey smarter. He firsts casts a spell to speak with the monkey; they decide to go down to the guild sanctum to cast a spell to make Hopi smarter. The party follows.
The spell works. The monkey is a bit overwhelmed, and seems to be aware of Coyote’s presence. The party heads to the temple for dinner; they are seated at the head table along with Sir Conlon Chahryn. After prayers the food is brought out; they have a lovely dinner and Seenaë heads to her father’s to spend the night.
14 Larain
Seenaë spends time with Nina and Hopi to help him acclimatize. At one point Seenaë comes across a vendor in the market claiming to be selling hair from the mane of Mendez; she quickly convinces them that this is a bad idea, and spends time over the day chasing away vendors of false relics.
17 Larain
Day of the Grande Melee. Seenaë participates this year and is on a team with Palycia of Meldamar, Sir Auttin Krencathy, Sir Bressen, Sir Kjarri of Setara, Tirn and Hervé as well as Sir Andrain. Seenaë makes a decent showing but Larissa is the last one standing and wins the day.
